Tree & Shrub Pruning

Cable & Bracing Support Systems
Sometimes a branch union may be structurally unsafe and pose the risk of splitting, causing the tree to be considered a risk liability for you. In some cases, our arborists can install steel hardware and cables to connect multiple trunks to provide additional support to the weak crotch. In the case of an existing split or crack, we also can install a steel support rod through the tree with hardware to help keep the fracture from failing completely. Each case is different and our trained arborists will evaluate your trees to determine the best method of support. Support systems are no guarantee that the tree will not fail, but greatly mitigate the possibility and risk. Generally, we recommend to have your support systems inspected and updated if necessary every one to two years.

Deep-root Fertilizing
Deep-root Fertilizing is the process of using a probe to inject nutrients in to the soil for the roots of the tree to take up as needed. We use a slow release formula that allows the tree or shrub to absorb as needed. Fertilizing helps to rejuvenate declining trees and keep healthy trees healthy with the ability to fight off insect and disease problems. An annual fertilization program is suggested to obtain the best results.
Tree & Shrub Removal
Although we pride ourselves in taking all available steps to preserve our client’s trees and the environment, sometimes the removal of trees and shrubs are necessary. Hazardous trees are a large safety and risk liability for any property owner and need to be removed cautiously by trained professionals. Our staff is equipped with the latest techniques and equipment to remove your trees safely while preserving the surrounding structures and landscape below.
Stump Removal
Whether you have an existing stump or we have removed a tree or shrub for you, rest assured we have to right machine for the job. With four-wheel drive and the ability to get into a 36” opening, our stump grinder can get to those large back yard stumps without driving a truck across your manicured turf. Generally the chips produced from the stump are pushed back into the place of the ground out stump, but are removed for additional cost if requested. We can also install a new tree or topsoil and grass seed for you after the chips have been removed.
