Training and Associations

Our staff is continually learning and
achieving certifications in new techniques
and technologies.

Associations and Training

We’re apart of the industry’s biggest and best associations to keep up with the latest training techniques.

Landscape Associations

We participate in associations in order to stay up-to-date on the industry’s latest equipment, techniques, and other important information. At Sauers we’re always growing our professional skills, so we can continue to provide you with the highest service.

Snow and Ice Removal Associations

  • Snow and Ice Management Association – The Snow & Ice Management Association is a North American trade association for snow & ice industry professionals. SIMA provides resources, leadership and support for snow removal and management professionals across North America. It is a non-profit trade association with a focus on training related to snow plowing, ice management, and business management.
  • Accredited Snow Contractors Association – The Accredited Snow Contractors Association is a trade association with the purpose of advancing the professional snow and ice management industry and to promote its role in performing high-risk services to society.

Training

We take training very seriously, because we take safety very seriously. In order to ensure all of our employees are well versed in safety training we have a weekly toolbox talk series to refresh them on the equipment they’re using. We’re constantly reviewing safety topics and even invite our key members to trade shows to, not only stay up-to-date with safety regulations, but also equipment upgrades and better techniques for tree care, landscaping, and snow and ice removal.
