Meet the Staff

Owner Operators

Stephanie Sauers, C.S.P. – President
Stephanie’s role in the company is to keep it running on all cylinders at all times. On any given day you can find Stephanie behind her desk crunching numbers to keep the business running smoothly. She’ll also be organizing the Sauers support of charitable activities in the community.

During the winter you can find Steph, a Certified Snow Professional (CSP), in the field, helping to manage snow removal operations at 10 - 15 of the more than 25 commercial sites that depend on Sauers to clear their walks and parking areas. At Sauers, all large commercial sites are directly managed by one of the management team during snow events.

When not working, Stephanie enjoys spending time with her husband Jim and dogs Chloe and Kato. She also enjoys co-chairing the 2012 Eastern Montgomery County Relay for Life event.

Joe Sauers – Vice President
Joe, along with Mike, laid the foundation for Sauers when they created and grew a profitable lawn cutting service, while in high school. (It’s hard to believe that Joe already has over 15 years experience in the landscape business!)

Joe oversees the Commercial Property Maintenance Division and Landscape Construction Division at Sauers. He ensures that all of the commercial properties serviced by Sauers are professionally maintained at all times – winter, spring, summer and fall.

Joe also ensures that your residential and commercial landscape construction projects are built the right way, while meeting your desires for an enhanced outdoor living space.

Like Stephanie and Mike, Joe is in the field overseeing commercial snow removal operations at your site.

He enjoys doing projects around his house and caring for his new baby girl, Charlotte Grace.

Mike Sauers – Tree & Shrub Care Division

Mike is our Certified Arborist and is responsible for the Tree & Plant Health Care Divisions of the company. Like Joe, Mike has over 15 years experience in the Landscape/Tree Care Industry.

As a certified arborist, Mike provides educated recommendations to help keep our clients trees safe, healthy, & beautiful. If tree removal is required, Mike and his team can safely handle the job, regardless of how big or challenging it might appear to be.

Before, during and after a snowfall, you’ll find Mike managing snow removal at a number of locations in the Sauers portfolio of commercial sites.

Our clients appreciate Mike for his outgoing and friendly personality. He enjoys spending time with his friends & family when he's not working.

Janice Sauers – Executive Vice President
Janice Sauers currently handles all incoming phone calls to the office and assists with clients’ requests. Janice ensures that your request is met with prompt service from our operations team.

She enjoys dining out with her family and watching her first granddaughter, Charlotte, grow up!

Bernie Sauers – Treasurer
Bernie is in charge of fleet and equipment maintenance at Sauers, Inc, making sure that each and every truck and piece of equipment is ready to go out on the job, safely and reliably, every day. This is particularly important during the winter months when larger than normal snowfalls require nearly every Sauers vehicle to be operating at peak performance for days at a time.

He enjoys spending time with his family and getting to know his new granddaughter, Charlotte Grace.

 

Our Management Team

Scott Russell – Tree & Shrub Care Project Manager
Scott is our right-hand-man when it comes to the tree and shrub care division. His responsibilities include customer communications before, during, and after the completion of jobs.

He makes sure we show up when promised, perform the work professionally and safely, and leave your property in pristine shape when we are done. (Did we mention that we have been accident free for over 10 years!)

Scott enjoys spending time with his wife Teena and hunting in season.

 

Jack McPeak - Commercial Account Manager

Jack is our account manager for commercial landscape and snow removal clients. He has over 15 years of experience in the field and is well versed in all facets of outdoor property maintenance. 

Jack enjoys spending time with his wife and kids when he is not at work.
