Activities and Organizations
Eastern Montgomery County Relay for Life
We are a proud sponsor and participant of the Eastern Montgomery County Relay for Life, obtaining “Jade” status in 2011 for raising over $10,000. The American Cancer Society is an important organization for us as it has not only touched many of our friends and extended family, but it has hit right at home with one of the business owners, Janice Sauers. Since Janice’s diagnosis in 2000, Sauers, Inc started small with it’s commitment to the cause and has worked up to now donating $1 for each invoice as well as President, Stephanie Sauers’ involvement as a committee member for the 800+ member participation event held at Hatboro Horsham High School on Fathers Day weekend every year. Stephanie is now the co-chair for the 2012 event that will be held on June 15.
Annual Strike out Cancer Bowling Event
Strike-Out-Cancer is an event started in 2010 to help raise money towards our Relay for Life fundraising. It has seen huge success starting with 44 participants that jumped to 110 participants within one year. Sauers, Inc is already planning its 3rd Annual Strike Out Cancer for Saturday May 19 2012, where it hopes to bring in at least 150-175 participants.
Freedom Steps
Freedom Steps is a heartfelt tribute to those men and women who are on the front lines defending our country and the freedoms we hold so dear. Sauers, Inc has been a proud sponsor for the 4-year event since 2010. President Stephanie Sauers and her husband Jim have also attended ‘Packing Nights’ where boxes are packed and shipped to troops overseas.
Willow Grove Golf Outing
The Willow Grove Golf Outing is a charity event of Willow Grove Chamber of Commerce that raises money for the Second Alarmers Rescue Squad. September 2011 will mark its 41st Annual Golf Outing. Sauers, Inc has been a proud Golf Cart Sponsor since 2007.
UPS Golf Outing to Benefit the United Way
We are proud to announce that we recently sponsored a hole at the 14th annual United Parcel Service (UPS) Corporate Challenge at Radley Run Country Club in West Chester, PA. UPS, their employees, and associates have raised over 1 billion dollars for the United Way since they became involved in 1982. We are happy to support the interests of our clients and help those less fortunate.
Various Services to Community Churches and Families
Sauers, Inc has given back to local churches and families in need. Every once in a while Sauers, Inc will get a heartfelt phone call from someone in need, and case by case Sauers, Inc is happy to support and help those in need by doing various odd jobs around the properties in need.

2011 – Stephanie Sauers recognized for outstanding improvement of Events and Entertainment at the 2011 Eastern Montgomery County Relay for Life – the first year she took over that task for the event. Recognized by American Cancer Society staff partner, Income Development Director and Regional Relay Lead.
